This unit can also run on batteries, if needed. This was originally designed to connect with the Korg A1, A2, and A3 rack effect units (with a specific cable that's not included,) but it's a great, straight forward MIDI controller that has two modes and extra 1/4 input jacks for even more external foot switches. In overall good condition with signs of use, but nothing major.
